Foster Care Director, Kids Crossing
Ben Schoch is a Colorado native from Pueblo who has dedicated his career to supporting children and families in the foster care community. Since joining Kids Crossing in 2005, Ben has served in a variety of roles, building nearly two decades of hands-on experience in child welfare and family support. Now serving as Foster Care Director, a role he stepped into in 2022, he continues to lead with a deep commitment to strengthening families and creating safe, supportive environments for youth in care.
Before becoming Director, Ben spent nearly a decade as a Placement Coordinator in Colorado Springs, working directly with foster families to navigate placements, overcome challenges, and ensure children were connected with stable, caring homes.
Ben’s practical experience and compassionate approach closely align with the mission of Fostering Hope, where he has served on the local board since 2024 and now contributes as part of the inaugural Colorado Springs Board. In this role, he helps guide local efforts to better serve children and families across the foster care community.
A graduate of Colorado State University Pueblo, Ben enjoys spending time with his kids, staying active, watching sports, and investing in the communities he has long called home.
