A business plays a special role in helping a child from foster care succeed. Fostering Hope has partnered with some 17 businesses across a variety of industries and professions, who have helped young people launch into meaningful jobs and new career paths. If you are a business owner or executive who might be willing to employ a young adult in or aging out of foster care, we want to hear from you. If you are a business owner or leader who is hiring, we would love to talk with you.
With some basic-level training in trauma and a little bit of patience, a business can not only transform a person’s life, but it’s own company culture as well.

Teaching the value of hard work and honesty.
“We enjoy working with the youth in Fostering Hope as it gives us an opportunity to share real world life experiences and teach them the value of hard work and honesty. By teaching young adults to believe in themselves and that making a difference in community can start with them, we are providing them a valuable tool to carry with them through life. These are necessary life skills for our future leaders that we believe are present in everyone. They need to be identified, fostered and reinforced by all employers through a positive and supportive work environment.”
