Executive Director, Special Kids Special Families
In Kevin’s role as Executive Director, he leads efforts to support individuals with disabilities and their families across the Pikes Peak region. With more than 25 years of leadership experience, Kevin brings extensive expertise in nonprofit and healthcare operations, including strategy, program oversight, business development, communications, marketing, and fundraising.
Kevin has spent the majority of his career advocating for at-risk and marginalized populations, working for over 15 years in the Pikes Peak region to strengthen services and expand support for underserved communities. His passion for improving lives and building stronger systems aligns closely with Fostering Hope’s mission to support children and families in foster care.
Kevin brings a strategic, mission-driven perspective to Fostering Hope, along with deep experience in nonprofit leadership and community engagement. He has previously served as President of the Pikes Peak Public Relations Society of America and as a board member for Kids on Bikes.
He holds an MBA from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and a bachelor’s degree from Radford University. Outside of work, Kevin is an endurance athlete who has competed in the Ironman World Championships and now takes on ultramarathons exceeding 100 miles. He is a father of two teenagers, volunteers at the Humane Society, and enjoys life with his family in Colorado Springs.
