Owner, Signature Homes by Steve Scott
Steve Scott has been a dedicated community leader in Colorado Springs since relocating with his wife, Marlene, in 1975. A graduate of Fort Lewis College with a degree in Accounting, Steve began his career as a Certified Public Accountant before transitioning into a lifelong commitment to community service, business leadership, and philanthropy. He is the owner of Signature Homes by Steve Scott, where he has earned respect for thoughtful building and a strong commitment to the community.
Over the past several decades, Steve has played an active role in strengthening the Pikes Peak region through board leadership and community initiatives. He has served multiple terms on the Peak Vista Board of Directors, including Board Chair twice, and was a founding member of HBA Cares. His contributions have been recognized through honors such as Builder/Developer of the Year, and his leadership in initiatives like the Community Focused Golf Tournament, which has supported local families for many years.
Steve has been deeply involved with Fostering Hope since 2013, first as a mentor through his workplace, and later as a team volunteer. He has served on the Fostering Hope Local Board since 2017 and continues to serve on the inaugural Colorado Springs Board, providing long-standing leadership and continuity as the organization grows. His deep, personal connection to the mission and decades of service to children and families bring an invaluable perspective to Fostering Hope’s work.
Steve is also an active member of St. Joseph Parish, where he has contributed his time in leadership and service roles over the years. He and Marlene have made Colorado Springs their home for over 50 years and remain deeply invested in supporting their community.
